Morocco Diary – Previous Posts

Though there is so much more to share, I am going to take a little break from Moroccan diary after this post and start stories of other places that I visited. Everybody needs a little change ambience and so does my blog. J

On Day 3, we went on a long and rather picturesque drive from Marrakech to Fes (the third largest city of Morocco). I will be sharing pictures of Fes in future, but this post is dedicated to all the beauty of the road and the road trip itself.

Patches of greens, Olive Trees that looked like bushes from distance, gorgeous expanse of dusty landscape, and the road itself sitting in all its crowned glory with low Atlas Mountains made this trip legendary. Here is the picture story of the beauty that I witnessed.

Before hitting the highway, we made a quick visit to Menara Gardens. Below are a few pictures from this quick stopover.

Stop Over for Ramadan Iftar

Stop Over for Ramadan Iftar

Though I wasn’t fasting, but we did stopover to indulge in some authentic Moroccan style Lentil soup, deserts, dates and some Moroccan bread. I didn’t click any more pictures after this and called it a night after a good hot vegetarian meal. I slept as the car drove towards Fes.

What has been your favorite road trip so far?
