The Good & The Bad Experience @ { Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Alibaug } by Rakshita Kapoor

As a person with liking for the little and the finer things and decent experience with ordinary, luxury and wannabe, I’ve learnt to distinguish one from another. So far I‘ve shared all the beautiful experiences that I’ve had on my trips, hence as a person with opinion, I feel it’s only fair to show the other side of the coin. All know and few acknowledge that not all trips and experiences are as pleasant as you’d like them to be. However, you do take them and move on with a pinch of salt. So, with a risk of sounding needy, I’ve described below one such not so great experience that I had on a recent trip.

Not long after my Maldivian trip, I visited Radisson Blu, Alibaug for an office offsite. It’s a gorgeous and widespread property with gigantic pools and even bigger rooms (speaking figuratively) with all basic and not so basic amenities in place. Staff is super friendly and service and food is pretty much up to the mark. Below are a few pictures of the property:

If I were to rate the resort and amenities, I will give it 3.5/5 on the scale of 1 – 5.

{Scale: 1-2: well-O-well | 2-3: Hmmm | 3-4: I like it | 4-5: you got me to heaven :D}

However, in the middle of all goody good, there is something that can almost kill the entire experience of a wonderful trip. It’s the Spa at the resort. Yes, a Spa! Probably the last place at a 5 star, you’d expect to have a bad experience in. Mine was atrociously bad (the superlatively superlative bad). Read all about it here.
